Bi-monthly Newsletter and Prayer letter
For a small annual membership fee of £7 Club members receive a News Letter on a bi-monthly basis as well as a up to date news of Club members, holidays and other events. Enclosed with each newsletter is a Prayer Letter and a Birthday List so that Club Members can pray for each other on a regular basis.
The latest Newsletter is No 44 for December 2008/ January 2000. It contains reports from recent holidays to Corsica, the Cotswolds and Rhodes as well as an interesting article from Dorothy McQuaker on the Baptist Union of Scotland Summer Reading Group and one from John Phillips describing his 5 weeks at two Scripture Union Camps in Slovakia. CHRISTMAS AND POST CHRISTMAS EVENTS
Each year the Club holds pre and post Christmas events. Those planned for this Christmas are as follows:
Carol Service - A carol service will be held in Adelaide’s on Thursday 18 December 2008.
Post Christmas Lunches and Dinners – These will be held as follows:
Friday 9 January 2009 – Campanile Hotel, Glasgow (dinner),
Saturday 10 January 2009 – Royal Hotel, Stirling (lunch)
Tuesday 13 January 2009 – Holiday Inn, Edinburgh (dinner)
Wednesday 14 January 2009 – Aberdeen (lunch)
Thursday 15 January 2009 – Carrick Lodge Hotel, Ayr (lunch)
Friday 16 January 2009 – Willowbank Hotel, Largs (dinner)
Saturday 17 January 2009 – Inverness (lunch)
